The 808 is an acoustic instrument with an electronic sound .
 Produces a " Dry " or " Crispy " sound depending on the setting.

 Drummers like to " hybrid " their set with electronic sounds, all the better while maintaining the feel , dynamics and warmth of an acoustic instrument.
 The 808 Stack is the ideal tool for getting the sound of an electronic Hihat,
 as:
 - It does not need cables or software for its amplification;
 - Does not need a dedicated microphone to "break through" the mix;
 - Reduced size and weight.

 It can also be used as an effect to enrich the sounds of your drum set or as a second hihat for those who have space problems or do not have a suitable stand.

 The 808 Stack is entirely hand-built :
 - Stabilized solid wood base with M8 rod attachment compatible with all professional and semi-professional rods;
 - A b20 plate made from discarded cracked cymbals that we collect from our drummer friends.
 - Two hand-hammered steel plates;
 - Two brass rattles.

 It is possible to influence the sound produced by adjusting the butterflies located on the lower base.
